OPOC.us, a Worthington-based employee benefits and HR services company, plans to more than double its local workforce as part of a major headquarters expansion backed by the state of Ohio, according to a JobsOhio announcement.

The company, which operates as the parent organization of Centric HC and Accelwell, will add 200 new full-time positions at its central Ohio headquarters. The expansion is expected to significantly increase both staffing and payroll as OPOC scales its operations to meet growing national demand for integrated human resources services.

Known for its comprehensive employee benefits model, OPOC.us currently serves more than 1,500 companies across all 50 states. The firm already employs roughly 200 people at its Worthington headquarters, meaning the expansion will double its local workforce over the coming years.

“OPOC was built on a simple belief: take care of people, and everything else gets better. Expanding our headquarters in Worthington allows us to continue building the team and capabilities needed to support our growth and serve clients across the country,” says CEO Clark May

The project is also being positioned as an economic win for the Columbus region. Local and state development officials highlighted the expansion as an example of Ohio’s ability to attract and retain headquarters operations, emphasizing the state’s business environment.

JobsOhio officials noted that the project will generate substantial new payroll activity in the region while growing Worthington’s role as a new hub for business services and headquarters employment.
